In praise of plum jam

And your poem is a feast for the lovers of alliteration, like myself. Mind you the subject about which you write is very much one which is dear to me, plums being one of my favourite fruits. The line that sticks out for me is "juicy jellies and jams." And I would add plum pies or plum duff or ...... I could just go on, such is the power of your words.

I'm not even much of a plum enthusiast, yet you had ME salivating by the time I finished this poem!! Plum..er, I mean, PLUS, the alliterations placed the way they are, as I read it aloud, I sounded like I was doing so with a mouthful of that jellied concoction! That was actually quite fun...and clever on your part!

yes, clever and yummy sounding as Bernie and Rachelle have said, and fun to read, AND aren't you clever to have made it! I am most impressed. I cook all the time but have never attempted jam from scratch. Do you make chutneys, too? Do you, by any chance, share recipes?
