Poem for a friend.

Some years ago, I was helping a friend at the start of their poetic journey. I write this for them.

Poem for a friend.

I didn’t plan to love you,
it happened in the small, bright ways:
the way your laugh lifted a room,
the way your courage showed up on quiet days.

You don’t need perfect words to matter;
you already do, just as you are.
But I’ll walk beside you, poem by poem,
until your voice shines like a star.

This isn’t just kindness, or time I lend,
this is love, and you are my friend.
Not because I should, or must, or ought,
but because you’re you, and that means a lot.

Tim, help. please tell me where I find the wow factor short stories of the week so I can pick one. Rachelle's busy, Katharine and then erase this if you can.

Look at all the short stories posted this week between 26th and 1st That is what you choose the best from If there are more than 3 I normally give the weeks winner plus a runner up with a short but on why I made the choice Either email your decision to rachelle or send her the result via the message system on here

Thanks Katharine.

This is absolutely beautiful. A tender friend-love story that is filled with all the ingredients crucial to a lasting friendship: loyalty, kindness, compassion and generosity. This was majorly uplifting to my heart and spirit. xoxo
