While clock gears bloom like midnight ferns,
In shadowed rooms where time still turns,
It whispers secrets, soft and low,
A dance of moments, ebb and flow.
Each tick a breath, each tock a sigh,
In stillness, dreams go drifting by,
Petals of hours unfold with grace,
In darkened corners, we find our place.
Echoes of time in a tangled seam,
Where memories gather like fragments of dream.
A tapestry spun from threads of night,
As the world turns on, beyond our sight.
Stars burn in silence, a celestial guide,
Through corridors of time where shadows abide,
Whispers of laughter, the tears that we've shed,
In the hush of night, old ghosts lift their head.
Moments like raindrops fall with ease,
Gathering softly, borne by the breeze,
Each heartbeat a story, each pause a chance,
To sway with memory's timeless trance.
So let the clock chime, let the hours decay,
In the stillness of night, we find our way,
For in each second, a universe swirls,
A symphony held in the heart of the world.

The Words That Got to Me
I love the unusual and the visually memorable lines in poetry, and you open with a doozy. "While clock gears bloom like midnight ferns," This immediately puts me into a surreal dreamlike realm. You set the scene for me to enjoy. “Each tick a breath, each tock a sigh” I hear and enjoy. “A tapestry spun from threads of night” A line I wish had come from my pen
Suggestions / Possible Tweaks
This is minor, but some ideas are quite abstract and take away from the more visual and naturalistic imagery. I can picture ferns and clock gears; my mind's eye brings the picture to life. But then mixed in, I find "echoes of time", “a universe swirls”, and so on, that are more a concept than an image.
This is a poem that lives and breathes on the atmosphere it creates. The mood is reflective and calm throughout. It reads like a dream or a passing fancy as I sit daydreaming by the window, supping on a hot coffee. The structure and rhyme feel natural and unforced, which can be difficult in rhyming verse.
