Ode to Rachelle

I had to add to Rachel Gosling’s post:

her lovely “toast” to Rachelle from us all,

this busy, stylish lady on the go

who compliments our efforts, large and small.

Rachelle wears many hats, most every day

a music teacher, opera singer, mom,

critiques our writings in her lovely way,

with compliments and comments full of “chahm.”

(Southern for charm)

She’s vibrant, energetic, never still—

all day in high heels, and a ready smile,

 a fiery red head, very pretty, too,

a “chic critiquer”—goes the extra mile.

She also is a true and loyal friend;

I’m one of many she’s made on this site—

This site which gives me happy hours each day,

and also way too late into the night.

Thank you for this opportunity

to be a part of all these goings-on;

This writing fam’ly opening up our hearts….
