The attention magnet

Life of the Party

The men at this gathering find you irresistible. You listen attentively, give adoring gazes, and shamelessly nudge them. Your silky hair and runner's body turns them into giddy schoolboys. But when they offer you their cocktail wieners, I can take no more. "Stop!" I cry. "No spicy foods. Vet's orders."

aha! You fooled me, at first. Yes, I bet, an attention getter. And the owner probably ate the cocktail sausages. Very good!

What can I say, I love it, and I have my own attention magnets, as you well know. Very clever mico-flash.

Yes, and the feline ones, too...like the poser who contorts her loveliness on the chair in the background while we conduct piano lessons each week!!!

That's Misty. Sadly, I lost one of them last week. Lulo, who was 14, passed peacefully in her favourite sleeping spot under my bed 😢

Ugh. I'm so very sorry to read that. xoxo

The Words That Got to Me

You listen attentively, give adoring glances, and shamelessly nudge them. I could see this so clearly! On first reading, a highly attractive woman and then a wonderfully manipulative, stomach-led doggy.

Ha-ha! I loved this piece, and the clever twist at the end. Our dogs certainly know how to work a crowd.

Ohhhh yeah!!
