Friday’s my day for Aqua fit,
my biceps bulged and triceps bit.
I leapt and jogged,
jiggled and bobbed,
The pace? It went lickety-split.
I kicked up waves in the water,
Did what the coach said I oughta.
My balance was lost
as my limbs were tossed.
Surrendered myself to slaughter.
Then I galloped off to the gym,
hoping to become a bit trim.
The dumb bell was dropped,
on one foot I hopped.
Dreams of fitness starting to dim.
Now I’m taking a coffee break,
my muscles are screaming they ache.
My body screams ‘Ouch!’
I lounge on the couch,
only soothed by chocolate and cake.

well, good for you! HA! If there's ever a way to be soothed it is definitely chocolate anything, and cake is a pretty good soother, too. Also relaxing on the sofa. Cute poem. Your first two verses were so exhausting, I had to smile at your then, galloping off to the gym. Am thinking thou art a glutton for punishment! :)
