The Creepers walk

Story of a stalker.

The Creepers walk

a pirate smile, a humming tune

a click of heels by summer moon

a desert smile, a mangled grin

clenching hands to greet the din

a streaming scent, a female guise

a glittered gaze with flat black eyes.

a creeping crawl, slips closer still

gripping mind, his poisoned will

a steady pace, a ruthless arm

a grasp of steel with thoughtless harm

a shock of pain, a twisted grin

the creepers walk, the stalkers win

The Words That Got to Me

a glittered gaze with flat black eyes. *Ugh. This one gave me that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach

Creepy enough to make every goosebump I have bubble up all over my body. Yikes. You are the queen of the macabre!! xoxo

The Words That Got to Me

'a desert smile, a mangled grin', 'a glittered gaze with flat black eyes' 'a creeping crawl, slips closer still' - Yikes! I'm glad I'm reading this in the daytime so I'm only a little bit terrified!

Suggestions / Possible Tweaks

Do you think this should be put under poetry instead? You can go to your settings and easily change the category.

Ooh, the use of alliteration to build up a scene of menace and threat was masterful here. Great job at scaring the living daylights out of me!
