SPECTRE

Chapter 1 of 2

Prologue

Prologue

Excerpt from Book 1 "Ghost"

"When I was growing up, we didn't have names, identities or the right to just be.

Like we weren't supposed to be born and using space not our own.

They made the best of it as they saw it.

We were used in almost every way possible and they considered us free slaves since they had to put up with us.

Oh, yes, I knew slavery. I knew the lay of the land and I knew the jailers too.

No personality or mistakes were allowed.

At best we were small automatons to do their bidding.

As for identity, that had to be earned.

I already knew what my name was...."

It was "Ghost"

___________________________________

The specters of my memory continue to roll and race across my mind. Each lining up at the end of my pen jostling for position and changed into words.. Flickers of what was begging for light. The story continues and pours out at last with this group of books called "The Spirit Series".

Book 1 "Ghost" details the harsh realities of pain, fear and danger. It reveals how three young girls survived the onslaught. It also describes the nature of the abuser and the accomplices, the fear circle created, the reasons and methodology of the abuser and the abusee's. The psychological and systematic ways that fooled the world. A plan for slavery, starvation, and the systematic mind twisting actions to rid the world of three young girls.

One - Buried her memories in controlled surroundings and controlling behavior. Only a small handful of memories remain.

Two - Would not engage in memories of the past. She has her own scars to bear with no desire to revisit what was.

Three - The family librarian. The one who remembers everything. Every action, every event, every betrayal remembered.

The story resumes in book two "Spectre". With knowledge comes understanding, with understanding comes the dissipation of fear.

The Words That Got to Me

I already knew what my name was...." It was "Ghost" An intriguing line bound to engage anyone's interest and sympathy.

This sounds like a tremendously interesting and hard-hitting tale. I am certainly intrigued and already deeply concerned about those three youngsters.
