Spotted fawn at dusk

Stacked haiku

Spotted fawn at dusk

spotted fawn at dusk,

questioning humanity

with quizzical stare

naively trusting,

dark eyed curiosity,

too young to know fear

I mean you no harm,

beautiful, fragile creature,

yet urge you to hide

The Words That Got to Me

I mean you no harm, beautiful, fragile creature, yet urge you to hide

You did it again: that peaceful, warm feeling that sits with me when I read a perfect haiku arrived the minute I finished with this. It's absolutely lovely. Simple but meaningful and wise. Such a gorgeous post, Rachel. xoxo
