Nonette used to illuminate the message of the poem. (Inspired by a previous Tim Margetts Bi-Weekly Poetry Challenge)

Diminished

You are always able to be less

There is never nothing to lose

So, tempting Fate is stupid

The universe will choose

Do not be a fool

You will not win

What you learn:

Life is

Cruel

The Words That Got to Me

So, tempting Fate is stupid The universe will choose Indeed it will and does!

I thought this was a very interesting and unusual poem, dealing with humanity's capacity to underachieve and underperform. I liked the thoughts about fate and the universe choosing - philosophical brain cells stirring into action now!
