An Ode to My Friend

Rachel is her name,

strong-but-humble is her game.

Writer extraordinaire;

And poet with a flair.

Encouraging and kind,

A rare and wondrous find.

When doubt knocked on my door,

she kicked it to the floor.

We live a pond apart

but share a kindred heart.
