Earthly Possessions
by Anne Tyler
Do you like the characters in this book? I am finding it hard to connect to any of them or care about them much.

You've piqued my curiosity, Michaela. Now I'm going to check this out. I've read Ann Tyler (years and years ago. The Accidental Tourist was one, right? And also The Church of Second Chances, I think? I loved them both.) I'll have an answer for you as quickly as I can. Thanks for the book suggestion!! xoxo
I started it this afternoon, and it does get off to an enthralling start! A bank robbery where our protagonist is the kidnap victim therefrom!! Oy! Once I'm more into it, I let you know if I have your same feeling about the characters.
Okay! So I've now finished this book. Like the other books of hers I read that I mentioned - The Accidental Tourist and Church of tge Second Chances, this one goes through some exasperating parts. You have to power through, though, because you'll be glad you did. Her characters blossom quietly and kidnap you.into liking/downright enjoying them. Did you complete the book or give up on it?
